CARBON STEEL ROD PIN
| American Hot Rod Solutions high performance piston pins are manufactured from 1020 non-resulfurized carbon steel. The deep carbonizing and proper heat treatment yields an outside hardness of HRC 60-65 and inside hardness of HRC 24-48. The minimum depth of carbonizing at outside surface is 0.015". The out of round of each pin is maintained under 1/10000". Every pin has been magnafluxed. |
